On August 22, 2018 in Seoul, South Korea, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau, a student from the Faculty of Applied Sciences in Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) has been crowned Miss Vietnam Supranational of 2018. The contest is being held to find the representative of Vietnam lớn attend one of the most well-known beauty pageants in the world at the moment, Miss Supranational 2018.

Born và raised in a poor family in Tay Ninh, Ngoc Chau soon had to be independent with the will lớn rise up in life khổng lồ help her mother and siblings. Before Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018, Ngoc Chau was the Secretary of the Youth Union of her faculty & she ran it with a high spirit of discipline. Then she became the winner of Vietnam"s Next Top model in 2016. Chau is a warm-hearted and decent student so many friends love her for those characters. In the final night of the pageant, Ngoc Chau received the question: "If you were to be given wisdom, charisma and compassion, what would you choose?" và her response was: "In our modern world, people are increasingly oblivious to lớn the good nature of the primeval stage of mankind, the good natures. I believe compassion, tolerance and forgiveness will bring people together khổng lồ make life better."

At the finale of Miss Supranational Vietnam2018 held on 22nd August 2018 at Sheraton Grande Walker Hill Theater in Seoul, Korea,Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chauwas crowned as the winner. She is now expected khổng lồ represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2019 to be held next year.Hailing from Tay Ninh province, Ngoc Chau defeated fourteen other beautiful contestants to lớn win the national title. Ngoc Chau, who is 24 years of age andstands tall at 174 cm,was also the champion of Vietnam's Next Top model Cycle 7 held in 2016.
Last year,Khanh Phuongrepresented Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2017 & this year, popular modelMinh Tu Nguyenis expected khổng lồ be Vietnam’s representative for Miss Supranational 2018. Minh Tu was also part of the jury for Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018.
